Hot Fun in the Summer Sun at Trump Pavilion
August has been a busy month for the residents at at Trump Pavilion. That's because the staff planned not one, but two exciting events to the summer calendar.
First up, the center's 12th Annual Hat Fashion Show was held on Aug 1 and like previous year's, it was a huge success. The event was attended by close to half of the 200+ residents of the facility. Residents designed and made hats to be worn during the fashion show. Staff and volunteer escorts also wore hats as they brought residents through the balloon decorated runway.
The summer festivities continued on August 14, when Trump
threw its first-ever beach party. Wearing their coolest summer shades, staff and residents gathered in the main dinning room and feasted on a summer barbecue of hot dogs, hamburgers, watermelon and other summer treats provided by Jamaica Hospital's Dietary staff.
With summer's end drawing near, the staff and the residents eagerly anticipate what activities Trump Pavilion might be cooking up for the Fall.
