Flushing Hospital Receives Special Recognition From Korean Community

Flushing_logo2 On Sunday, June 24, one longtime fixture in the Flushing community honored another for their dedication to the people they both serve.

The Korean Won Buddhist Temple Association, celebrating its 33rd anniversary, chose Flushing Hospital Medical Center as this year's sole honoree.  The temple association recognized Flushing Hospital for its tireless efforts and generous contributions to their temple and the Korean community at large. Dr. Robert Crupi and Young Im Park accepted the award in front of over 300 people in attendance.  The event, which  was widely covered by the Korean media also featured a video presentation highlighting Flushing Hospital's achievements in the community.

Flushing Hospital is extremely proud of its most recent honor. With dedicated leaders such as Dr. Crupi and with hard work on the part of the Community Outreach Department, Flushing Hospital will continue to work hard to meet the needs of all the members of the community.
